Little Mermaid with his pet
Seaside Cookie Bouquet
The cake itself was done with Wilton Mermaid pan. The decorations were mainly madeleines. The face of the Mermaid and dolphin were made at the rate of the color. I copied the pan and makes the face hands free with the outline of the Pan and covered face with hair of frosting.
The birthday girl certainly wanted a dolphin on the cake, because his favorite story was Barbie Mermaid and the cover of the book the mermaid with a dolphin.
I decided to do a bunch of cookie with the sea as a source of inspiration. Cookie decorations have been made in advance with color flow and attached to the sugar cookies on a stick.
When I discovered the relevant images to use, I made one for use with the flow of the color and the other as the basis for the cutting of the cookie of the roll out sugar cookie recipe.
