You need a large cutter rose petals, a ball, a stick ruffles, paper towel, and of course, gumpaste in your desired color.

The base is required 5 petals. Roll out the gumpaste quite thick and cut off 5 forms. Cover 4 so don't dry out.

Grab the key and roll the petal frill flat. The volant Postiton stick pointed end and along the red lines to a petal also rolled up.

Use the ball to create a lot of movement and flatten the edges.

Steal a nasty old bowl from your grandmother, and then pass the petal about it.

Give the remaining 4 petals, treatment, and above them the postiton Bowl in a circle and glue together. Be careful not to paste into the Bowl! Make the perfect circle as possible, as the bottom layer will be used as a guide for the shaping of the entire squad. Let everything dry for several hours.

Now one more layer of petals and glue to the bottom layer. To model the rose, use towels folded cut into small pieces and inserted as the media. Take your sweet time to do this, but you should have done before it dries too. The point is to raise the petals from the bottom layer. Let it dry.

Add another layer. Let dry.

Gives a great effect to lift one side of petal exceeds than others.

And now for the last layer of 5 petals. At the top of the rose and the petals should be close together. Use more paper towel for this!

This is as a form of my rose. As you can see I've closed quite good on top. You can make it more open if you want.

Let dry completely and carefully remove the paper towel.

I painted mine with arts Edable "Scarlet" powder color mixed with iso propyl alcohol and sprinkled with cornmeal in half to make the center of the flower, as there is no wire in this flower that contains stamens.
