Our 1 year anniversary decoration cake!

OK, this is again a little later. Our 1 year anniversary actual landed on day mothers this year, but that it is a success.

Ever SO Happy & proud LoL, so far, I learned a lot about how to make cake and frosting icing.

I have explored different kinds of cakes to try to pile cakes, that I have to say red velvet cake is by far my favorite cake. Cake lemon, that in my view, is of far favorite cake for my husband. I have tried many different flavours of Strawberry short cake shaped old butter cream and raspberry filling. I have to admit was also Yummmy.

So here were now 1 year later so here is the history of the birthday cake. I went to our kitchen and realized that we milk. But that has not prevented from me, Hehehe, I used all the ingredients to make a yellow cake without milk, I was concerned, if it would be ok LOL.

But everything is permanently out pretty dang good I say LOL. In reality most seemed as pound cake Heheheheh, which was Awesome.

I have 2 lots of frosting. I like to do so in this way, back at the start when first entering the decoration of cakes. I have had no indication as to how much yellow for a cake that would be sufficient to cover and decorate a cake. At least 2 round 9 in cake pans, I know that I need 2 lots of frosting icing. Addition of 2 - 1 tsp vanilla extract, but for this cake, I added only 1-1/2 c. tea. I find place a sheet of aluminum under when your casting powder sugar Cup measure to add to your madeleines icing of the works to keep the table clean, not me of course, always get powder sugar all over my clothes LOL Hahahahahaha, but it's still incredibly fun.

I absolutely love my round table my husband bought me a few months so well, I like it just works.

Now my yellow is now ready for the fun part, it is the part I LOVE to decorate the cake!

First step involving madeleines just on the table of the tower. And then, I think, what they call mats to make the background Look nice and Pretty, I put 2 on.

And then my first cake after putting more yellow icing on top of the mats.
Time for the fill.

Cutlery now season, let's get the second half of the cake top now we are going, it really seems like pound cake for me, even if his yellow cake LOL. Time of coating of crumb OHH, now it is much, and never works well, because as the crumbs of your licence to prevail in this icing, Lol.

Now for the crumbs of top coating. Now let rest in refrigerator for remarks oh 15 Minutes, place-crust.
OK, it was 10 Minutes, I guess you could say that one must gain more patience LOL. Now the time to retrieve the cake, it has been coated crumb. Look at that is not the book so CRUMB free nice LOL. Woohooo, just gotta Love it. certainly learn the tricks of cake decoration Yup Yup

Now covering the top of the cake. All finished, time to put the pie in refrigerator still 15 minutes or. Now to take some wax paper, placing at the top of the cake to see if I can make it look smooth. Using my basis to the smoother, that I love this tool so, Gotta love these cakes decoration products LOL. Now, look, nice & smooth, Just Awesome!
Time to work on the border of the shell, I think I used a 18 for this tip.

OK, so for some time I brought down ropes, Guess, you could say that I still need to work on this LOL but hey, practice makes perfect.
Now it's the search enough so far.
I must say, summer time is not the best weather for icing, especially when trying to make decent roses. Now, I know that if it was more my roses would be sought much better.

It's honestly were I think I have wasted, I now do not think that I should make this second row of drop strings, just a light back, LOL. But I do not appear to be better and better in the Department of writing of the decoration of cakes.

OK, so we have here it. Our 1 year Cake Decorating birthday cakes, we are so happy & proud, & very excited, to feel as if this normal cakes is closing and another door for we hope many more different type of cakes are not only normal cakes of opening type you would buy in a store.

We have lost much learned during this first year. Looking forward to what all would learn in the next year of the decoration of cakes, really feel as we work our way of beginning stages of the decoration of cakes and on our way to be intermediate Cake Decorating. Perhaps in less than two years, becoming a professional cake decorator.

I must confess, cake decoration is captivating and sure is fun. Apparently I was told that it is a form of meditation. I think I agree with this, because once I start to decorate, I tend to forget everything else. My tea gets cold, food is cold, it is really the spirit and helps to eliminate the spirit because everything I think, this is the cake that I'm working on LOL.
Thus, we really hope you have enjoyed our first trip of cake year with us, as we have enjoyed to share with you and therefore hope that you continue to follow our journey of cake that we explore how many more different types, and I hope that much larger pie, as they say a door closes another opens.

Very curious as to what our cake decoration travel holds for us.
